We believe children need to follow their own interests in their own individual learning style. This learning is enhanced by following topics each term, which provide rich experiences, broadening children’s understanding of the world around them.

Learning Environments

We provide environments that look attractive and inviting, offering subliminal messages to come and play. We provide authentic artefacts, natural and recycled materials, loose parts and lots of toys for the children to use in both the indoor and outdoor environment. Through giving children the opportunity to touch, handle and investigate, to explore how things work and use items we aim to bring curiosity, awe and wonder into early childhood; creating the 'thinkers & doers' of the future.

Admissions

Admission to the Nursery is through application. Forms are available at the school office. Reception places are allocated by Birmingham City Council. Additional consideration is given to pupils who have attended our Nursery, in line with our Admissions Policy.
The Nursery offers both full and part-time places. Wrap-around care is also available from 8:00-6:00 with our Breakfast Club and After-school Club. Working families may be entitled to 30-hours free childcare. To check eligibility for funding visit http://www.birmingham.gov.uk/nef
