Our aim at Hillstone is to create an ethos in which bullying is not tolerated by any member of our school community. Our Staying Safe team work hard to identify, investigate and deal effectively with any reports of bullying; this is done with care, patience and empathy towards all parties involved through a staged and systematic approach.
‘Staying Safe at Hillstone’ was born from our wonderful School Council of 2024. The children wanted a team in place to promote kindness towards others and a system that dealt with bullying in a consistent and comprehensive way. The Hillstone School Council continue to be ambassadors for anti-bullying and wear their Staying Safe jackets with pride at lunchtime, looking out to praise children who are championing kindness, and offering support to those who may be struggling.
We ‘See it, Say it, Stop it‘ to keep everybody safe at Hillstone.
