PTA OVERVIEW

Hillstone School has a lively, enthusiastic PTA but we always need new input! Coming along to meetings and helping out at PTA-organised events is an excellent way to support the school, the staff and your child. Meetings are held each half term – they are informal and informative and any parent or carer who wants to come along to one or all of the meetings is very welcome.

The PTA organises various events throughout the year: Halloween Night, Fireworks Night, Quiz Night, Christmas Fayre – we are always open to new ideas, both for fundraising and so that we can all connect with the school and with one another.

The PTA also provides funds for many other aspects of the school, they have also made the following donations: 

Indoor and Outdoor Tennis Tables 

Team kits for Hillstone’s competitive sports teams 

Library books for all year groups 

Lunchtime activities for the SEN Department 

Christmas trees for the school 

HOW CAN YOU CAN GET INVOLVED?

The success of the PTA relies on parental support. Why not play an active role in the things we do? You could help out at school concerts and plays by setting up and serving interval drinks. If you’re really keen, why not attend our PTA meetings where you can help to shape the things that we do …… you may be able to offer some personal skills and knowledge that could be helpful in achieving our goals.
