At Hillstone Primary School, our vision for children and young people with special educational needs and disability ( SEND) is the same as for all children. We strive to ensure access for all to educational excellence in preparing children and young people for their futures, seeking to continually improve attainment and progress for all and secure the highest levels of achievement appropriate to the individual learner. The SENDCo (Special Educational Needs and Disability Co-ordinator) is Vikki Chudleigh. The SENDCo is responsible for co-ordinating the SEN provision across the school.
At Hillstone Primary School, we enable our children to achieve academic success through a rich, diverse and inclusive curriculum. We provide many opportunities for our children to be motivated and enjoy learning through educational visits, residential activities and a variety of visitors who bring different experiences of life. It is important to us that every child is valued and their talents, skills and unique qualities are recognised. We believe in developing the whole child and actively promote and encourage a healthy lifestyle.
